Flamingo blank Greetings card

My name is Amelie and I am 8 years old. I set up “Little Amelie Art” when I was 7 years old, with help from my family, to sell my artwork as greeting cards. I have learnt a lot at school about the environment and how important it is for us to protect our planet, so every card is printed on 100% recycled card.

I have two older brothers. My eldest brother has complex needs due to a brain abnormality. He makes my world quite different to other families and there are two charities who have really helped him, so half of all profits are donated to them.

Camp Mohawk is a very peaceful woodland day centre which allows us to enjoy making memories together as a family in a safe environment. The Music Club brings children with disabilities together to enjoy a variety of music, which is my brother’s passion. It always makes him happy. It’s like magic watching him change when the music starts! He can’t talk, but he makes so much noise with the excitement at the start of a session! 

I hope you like my work. I love painting with watercolours just like my Great Grandma did. It must be in my genes! They were originally created just for myself, but now they can put a smile on other people’s faces whilst helping raise money for the charities who help my family and many other disabled children so much.
